Went as Young Justice’s version of Robin and met up with Linda, aka Vampy Bit Me, at NYCC while she was in her Arkham Nightwing cosplay. Love herrr <3

Aqualad looks good in that last picture doesn’t he? One of my favorite pictures. UNFORTUNATELY, you can see where the body paint rubbed off onto his shirt! He forgot about the paint before it dried -___-

A few pictures taken by a friend before I headed over to the Halloween party on Sunday. I was too lazy to wear the mask.

Not many pictures because I had to help Aqualad complete his costume (hair dye, body paint, contacts, etc). My friend didn’t get to take pictures of Aqualad or Superboy so I’m waiting on the photographer from the party to post those up.

I’ll see if anyone is willing to do a shoot with me in this costume. If not I’ll wait until Anime Expo or San Diego Comic Con to wear it again. Free pictures :P

Robin costume is 99% complete! Need to fix gloves and make another mask. You’ll notice that I don’t have my mask on in the second picture; my test mask ripped. Which is fine since I was going to make a thinner/smaller mask to wear anyway.

Robin outfit is about 90% complete. Lots of little details to work on. Here I’m testing out which boots to wear with it. I was already planning to go with ankle boots. The ones I’m wearing in the picture are substitute ankle boots until I can go out and buy closed-toe ones.

I feel like the knee high and thigh high would look pretty good with the costume if they were skin tight, but alas, I don’t have any skin tight ones…yet. But I won’t own them until way after Halloween unfortunately :/

Testing how high/low/shape to cut the shirts. I know it’s not staying true to the actual costume but I want to make it more feminine. Also for the v-shape, it’ll be lower. It’s just high in this picture because I had to hook a safety pin on my bra in order to get the shirt to stay in a v-shape for the picture.

Kind of leaning towards v-shape. I think it looks more interesting.

Got this much done last night before I went to bed. I had a killer headache since the morning so I really needed to sleep. Plus I have school today, boooo!

I’ll be cutting this shirt and the black shirt I’m wearing underneath in half so that it comes a cut off shirt. That’s right folks, I’m making this Robin costume feminine. I also need to cut the sleeves off the red shirt and embroider a black line instead of just having it drawn on like in this picture.

I’m also spray painting the belt you MAY kinda see in the previous picture yellow today. So excited the closer I am to completing this outfit. I still need to find long gloves and booties. I won’t be able to go out and look for those today because I’m headed to evike in San Gabriel to get some tactical gear for a airsoft competition. It’ll be my first airsoft game ever! Way to ease into it right? My team is doomed, hahaha.
